We don’t have to waste our time learning how to make pastry when we can use grandma’s recipes.

There was the emptiness of space I was afraid to fall into, but the only real fear I’d ever actually had was to dive into the emptiness inside of myself.

In my life, I had lost only two things: my favorite pair of gloves and a handful of my favorite people. But now? Now I was starting to lose the ground under my feet.

It was odd to look for forgiveness and acceptance in my own head at first, but now I understood – it was the only place to look.
